Of all the sailplanes we offer, the Bird of Prey Composite is the most unique, and its performance the most astounding. Due to the swept-back Kasner Crescent planform, the Bird of Prey C exhibits a wider speed range, a better sinkrate, and some amazing flight characteristics. Low speed performance and handling is enhanced with a gentle stall and if you do stall it, recovery is measured in inches, not feet. You can fly and thermal the BOP close to the ground with confidence, sort of like a handlaunch.
What about the launch? Even more breathtaking than the obeechi Bird of Prey! The all-carbonfiber structure and joiner system is very strong, so go ahead and step on it - the wing can take it! The other benefit of this system is that all the energy is transferred to the wing, so your launch heights will amaze you. The handling of the BOP C is what you have only dreamed about up until now. Special Robertson Trilerons at the tip increase roll rate without disturbing the airflow, and turn efficiency is increased by an order of magnitude.
