This cute little sailplane is a blast to fly. Small wingspan and lightweight, the Nano
Floh is capable of flying in the smallest area. The small size is great for flying on any
slope you can get to! Small slope or large, the Nano Floh will be just plain fun! The Nano
Floh only takes two sub micro servos such are the CS-10 or HS-55 to fly the
airplane. One for the ailerons and one for the elevators on this V-tailed sailplane. Very
easy to set up and enjoy. Due to the size, the Nano Floh is a joy to fly on any slope and
will fly in light to strong lift (don't be afraid to add a little ballast - it won't
break). Certainly maneuverability is one of the Nano Floh's strong points. It will turn
and is able to fly in the smallest possible area or and on the lowest, smallest slope. You
will find yourself flying on slopes you never thought were possible. Try sloping a
building; it's a real challenge, and fun to boot!
Even though it is built light, the size and structure make for a strong sailplane and
bungie launches are also fun to do with the Nano Floh! Try bungie launching to a small
hill or slope a tree line, lots of things are possible with the Nano Floh.
The Nano Floh comes 95% built and ready to fly. Just assemble the prebuilt parts and
install radio and you are ready to fly. One evening's work is all it takes. The fiberglass
fuselage is prepainted white and the canopy black. The wings and V-tail are fully built
and covered and basically ready for assembly. The wing is one-piece with a little dihedral
for stability. One servo goes in the fuselage for the elevators and one servo goes in the
center of the wing for the full span ailerons that are actuated with torque tube hardware
that is supplied. All parts, hardware, and a detailed set of instructions are included. We
recommend using sub micro servos such as either CS-10BB or the HS-50 Feather from
Hitec. The receiver should be small, like the Hitec 555 or the
new FMA M5.
Handling is very fast and immediate and the Nano Floh will slow down nicely for landings.
This is the one that is really easy to simply catch in your hand at the end of the day.
Aerobatics and cruising is the strong suit of the Nano Floh and it is the perfect
sailplane for small slopes, aerobatics and zipping around and making the combat guys go
crazy!

On the slope the Nano Floh is a riot! Even on a small slope the Nano Floh gives you the sensation of speed but will slow down to be easily hand caught. The roll rate is tremendous and the Nano Floh can do every maneuver that you can do with ailerons and elevator. One little blast machine!
